Norfleet Thomas Goodwin, 70, of Calion, died in a local hospital early Wednesday night. Goodwin was born on Dec. 21, 1894 in Calion, and was the son of Norfleet and Eddie Smith Goodwin. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lulu Mae Kiger Goodwin of Calion; one daughter, Mrs. John Hammonds of El Dorado; six sons, Thomas S. Goodwin, Edward Goodwin, Maynard Goodwin and Richard Goodwin all of Calion, and Dr. Don R. Goodwin and Warren Keith Goodwin, both of El Dorado; two sisters, Mrs. Hamilton Moses of Little Rock and Mrs. J. M. Robinson of Clearwater, Fla.; and 15 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Calion Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Pratt Funeral Home. (The El Dorado Times - October 2, 1965)
