Obituary
Ronnie E. Vines, son of the late Tom Edward Vines, Jr and Ethel Kay Nichols Vines, was born May 24, 1963 in Marshall, Arkansas. He departed this life June 27, 2017 in Violet Hill, Arkansas at the age of 54 years, 1 month and 3 days. He was a 1981 graduate of Melbourne High School. He went on to work at the Arkansas Highway Department, Color Tile Flooring Mill as a Shipping Coordinator, the North Central Unit Prison, Iron Worker and carpenter. He was united in marriage to Vicki Shrable February 21, 1992 and together they had two daughters. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and also fishing, hunting, gardening and being outdoors. He was of the Baptist faith and was baptized at Melbourne First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years: Vicki Vines of the home; two daughters: Chelsea Wallace and husband Dalton of Melbourne and Nicole Vines of the home; one brother: Steve Vines of Melbourne; one sister: Michele Gillihan of Diamondhead, Mississippi; ten nieces and nephews: Katlyn Shrable, Sydney Shrable, Sophie Shrable, Drayson Gillihan, Ashton Bryam, Shelbie Byram, Charlee Jo Bryam, Keagon Gillihan, Kraigon Gillihan and Zaydee Wahl; two great nephews: Keian and Kiesyn Gillihan and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Tom & Ethel Vines and one brother: Raymond Vines.
Visitation and funeral service will be Friday, June 30 at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Jeff McAnally officiating. Burial will be at Melbourne Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Bryan Keiffner, Ed Roberts, Greg Ward, Emery Weems, Jake Roberts and Josh Roberts.
