Mrs. W. R. Vines Dies at Home Near Gorby
Mrs. Elzader Vines, aged 62, died at her home near Gorby Monday. She was born and reared in this vicinity, practically all her life being spent near Gorby.
Mrs. Vines was a member of the Methodist Church and had lived a consistent Christian life since uniting with the church. She was loved and respected by a large circle of Friends. She was a sister of the late Dr. Mason.
Surviving, are her husband, W. R. Vines; five sons, Harlin, Howard and Mason Vines of Creswell, Thurman of Gorby, and Woodrow of Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Blankenship of Evening Shade and Miss Opal Vines of Creswell.
Funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, services being conducted by Revs. Delbert Garrett of Melbourne and John Ed Steely. Burial was at Palestine Cemetery.
