Yvonne H. Howard, age 70, of Hermitage, AR. died Monday August 25, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. Born May 15, 1938 in Warren, AR. a daughter of the late Neal Hamaker and Nathan Langston Hamaker she was a retired lunchroom worker for the Hermitage School District and Member Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Also, preceding her in death was a son Jerry Douglas Howard, brothers Willie Merl Hamaker, Hershel Hamaker, Chester Hamkaer and a grandchild Quade Allen Howard. Survivors are her husband Curtis Howard whom she married July 15, 1955. 2 sons Randy Howard, Hermitage, AR., Ricky Howard and spouse Becky, New Edinburg, AR. 1 daughter Lori Cooley and spouse Danny, Hermitage, AR. 1 brother Otis Hamaker, Pine Bluff, AR. 1 sister Annette Valentine, Monticello, AR. 6 grandchildren Robin Anders, Leah Howard, Matthew Howard, Kassi Howard, Jordan Thomas and Miranda Thomas. Funeral services were 4:00 P.M. Thursday August 28, Landmark Missionary Baptist Church near Hermitage, AR. with Rev. Don Smith and Rev. Sam Higgs officiating. Music was by Janet Harton, Becky Howard and Laverne Freeman. Burial was in Gravelridge Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Dusty Byrd, David Wilkerson, Jeremy Johnson, Jim Gardner, Mike Wilkerson, Marty Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers were Russell Isbell, Edward Smith, Clois Smith.
