Elmer G. Howard, age 66, of Warren, Arkansas died Thursday, October 7, at JRMC, Pine Bluff. He was born October 31, 1937 in Bradley County, Arkansas a son of the late George Howard and Nora Pruitt Howard. He was a retired logger. Surviving are 2 sons Troy Howard, Pine Bluff, Ark. and Marty Howard, Warren, Ark; 2 daughters Judy Parnell, Kingsland, Ark. and Patricia Diann Langford, New Edinburg, Ark; 4 brothers Jessie Howard, Van Burn, Ark, Lee Howard, Barney Howard and Oscar Howard all of Warren, Ark; 3 sisters Katherine Lephiew, Warren, Ark, Jearlene Thompson, New Edinburg, Ark. and Birdie Burnett, Wilmar, Ark; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren Funeral services were 2:00 pm Saturday, October 9, at Frazer’s Chapel by Rev. Ronald Neely and Jessie Bickers read the obituary. Janice Sullivan was the organist and Kristin Bickers sang. Burial was in Garrison Cemetery near Warren by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Roy Howard, Roger Dale Lephiew, Danny Ray Howard, David Howard, Robert Scroggins, Eddie McMillan, Tony Howard and Jeffery Johnson. Honorary pallbearers were Randy Rice, Charles Rawls and Curtis Gillis.
