When Romedio Celeste Rossi was born on January 8, 1858, in Italy, his father, Giacomo, was 43 and his mother, Margherita, was 39. He married Adelaide "Delilah" Bertola on April 11, 1887, in Morrilton, Arkansas. They had ten children in 17 years. He died on March 4, 1940, in Pulaski, Arkansas, at the age of 82, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
