SPRINGDALE — Daryle "Bud" Eugene Goodman, 81, of Springdale went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2014, at the Maples in Har-Ber Meadows. He was born July 23, 1932, in Plymouth, Neb., the son of Charles and Viola Taylor Goodman. He attended Elm Springs United Methodist Church and had served in the Coast Guard during the Korean War. He was the previous owner of Springdale Glass Company. Mr. Goodman enjoyed playing golf, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Arnola "Bunny" Packard Goodman of the home; one son, Douglas Goodman and his wife, Barbara, of Hampton Falls, N.H.; one daughter, Nancy Taylor and her husband, Stephen, of Springdale; one brother, Charles Goodman Jr. and his wife, Joy Lee, of Omaha, Neb.; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 19. 2014, at 10 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home, with Pastor Dixon Platt officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be today, July 18, 2014, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Goodman. Nancy Taylor, Stephanie Goodman, Jennifer Goodman, Stuart Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Catrina Taylor and Ryan Taylor.
