GOODMAN, Louis - Louis Goodman, died Sunday morning at Tulsa, Ok., the result of typhoid fever followed by pneumonia. The remains arrived in Springdale Tuesday night, accompanied by deceased's wife and little daughter and mother, Mrs. Emma Goodman, and Houston Hartley of Tulsa. Funeral services were held at Friendship Church Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W.C. Evans, pastor of the First M.E. Church and the remains were interred in the cemetery near the church. Deceased was reared in this vicinity and was twenty-four years of age. Two or three years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Grace Moneyhun, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Moneyhun of this place and to them was born one child, a daughter, now eight or nine months old. They had been residing at Tulsa for about a year and we understand were making plans to return here when Mr. Goodman was taken sick. Mr. Goodman's mother made her home with them and it is likely she and her daughter-in-law will remain here. Deceased was a nephew of Jack and Will Hewitt of this place. He was an excellent young man and had many friends who sympathize with the family in their bereavement.
