When Eva Lee HARWOOD was born on January 4, 1897, in Springfield, Arkansas, her father, Thomas Jefferson, was 21, and her mother, Mary Ella Cole, was 16. She married Joseph Henry SCROGGIN on October 26, 1917. They had ten children in 21 years. She died having lived for more than 100 years. She died on January 12, 1999, in Morrilton, Arkansas, at the age of 102, and was buried in Center Ridge, Arkansas.
When Joseph Henry SCROGGIN was born on December 22, 1892, in Center Ridge, Arkansas, his father, Thomas, was 36 and his mother, Rosa, was 33. He married Eva Lee HARWOOD on October 26, 1917. They had ten children in 21 years. He died on February 12, 1956, in his hometown at the age of 63, and was buried there.
