He was the son of the late Elbert E and Lilly Jennings Scroggin.
He waspreceded in death by his wife, Grace Scroggin.
Survivors include a son, Dale Scroggin and his wife, Doris, of Vilonia; a brother, G.F. Scroggin of Solgohachia; two grandchildren, state Rep. Preston Scroggin and his wife, Karon, and Eric Miles; and one great-grandchild Morgan Reed Scroggin.
Pallbearers weree Lewis Miller, Jerry Scroggin, Bradley Dunn, Jimmy Hart, George Sowell, Mike Hutchins and Rick Cossey.
