When Jodie Carlock was born on July 24, 1904, in Arkansas, his father, William, was 29 and his mother, Laura, was 28. He was married three times and had two sons. He died on September 5, 1980, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 76, and was buried in Oppelo, Arkansas.
