When Jesse L. Carlock was born on May 14, 1888, in Conway, Arkansas, his father, James, was 32 and his mother, Angelina, was 35. He married Luvenia WEST on December 19, 1909. They had six children in 17 years. He died on August 13, 1968, in San Pablo, California, at the age of 80, and was buried in Oppelo, Arkansas.
