James Paul Gattis, 70, of Paris, Arkansas died Friday, May 6, 2005, in Fort Smith. He was retired from Cloyes Gear Company and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewell and Oma Zelma Johnson Gattis and his brothers, Danny Gattis
and Marvin Gattis, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, and their husbands, two sisters, and three grandchildren.

Orene Marie Gattis, 75 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on December 13, 1937 in Paris to, Horace and Lillian Cooksey Rice. She was a retired Certified Nurse's Assistant and of the Assembly of God Faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Lillian Rice; husband, James Paul Gattis and two sisters, Velda Cooley and Sandy Rice.
She is survived by three daughters, Melissa Gattis of Paris, Marilyn Rietman of Paris and Marla Cruz of Paris; two sisters, Freeda Brown
of Paris and Elsie Hanan of Russellville; one brother, Jerald Rice of Paris and four grandchildren.
