Virgil Woodrow Lindsey, 62, of Eagle Mills, died Thursday afternoon in a local hospital. Services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Salem Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home. Mr. Lindsey is a lifelong resident of Ouachita County, a retired auto mechanic, and a member of the Salem Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Syble Beard Lindsey; two sons, Dorman Lindsey of Can, Tex., and Beuford Lindsey of Longview, Tex; two daughters, Mrs. Lavine Ligon of Camden and Mrs. Janet Cook of Norphlet; one brother, Clarence Lindsey of Bearden; one sister, Mrs. Harold Womack of Bearden, 13 grandchildren, and one great grandchildren.
