Alfred Lanie Johnson, 52, of 2224 Rivh Ave., died in the Ouachita County Hospital at 4:55 p.m. Saturday. Mr. Johnson was a carpenter at the International Paper Co. here. He moved to Camden from Calhoun County, and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gladys Chambliss Johnson; one son, Jimmy Johnson of Pine Bluff; two daughters, Mrs. Audrey Strange of Camden, and Mrs. James Brian of Smackover; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Clemmons of Malvern, Mrs. Mamie Gammill of Camden, and Mrs. Bobbie Wolford of Natchez, Miss.; and by four grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Cullendale Assembly of God Church. Burial was in the Salem cemetery near Bearden by Proctor Funeral Home. (Camden News - October 26, 1964)
