July 1, 1913 - July 7, 1961
William B. Johnson, aged 48, of Louann, an oil field worker died in an El Dorado Hospital Friday night. Mr. Johnson had lived at Louann for 28 years and was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Melva Smith Johnson; three sons, Billy Ray Johnson of Merced, Calif., Gerald and Jerry Johnson both of Louann; his mother, Mrs. Bertha Marler of Camden; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the Smackover Church of Christ, conducted by T. D. Isom, and F. D. McNutt. Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery near Louann by Proctor Funeral Home.
