GENTRY — Mrs. Edna Brandon, age 88, of Gentry, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Brandon was born September 21, 1926, in Decater, Arkansas to Ely and Minnie Scoggins Philpott. Mrs. Brandon was a homemaker and a member of Mason Valley Baptist Church.

Mrs. Brandon was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Edward Brandon, son, Aubrey Brandon, brothers, Luther, Lathey, Ben, Raymond, Arvey and Orley Philpott, sisters, Ruby Pickett, Alma Harvey, Eby Etris and Offa Epperson, and a grandson, Dustin Brandon. Mrs. Brandon is survived by her sons, Orvil and wife Judy Brandon of Springdale, Arkansas, Edward Brandon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Keith and wife Cheryl Brandon of Summers, daughters, Eva Jordan of Bentonville, Arkansas and Elizabeth Brandon of the home, sisters, Ilda McCollough, Leta Warren and Amy Brewer, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild.

Visitation for Mrs. Brandon will be 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services for Mrs. Brandon will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial to follow in Coffelt Cemetery in the Vaughn Community. Arrangements by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 West Walnut, Rogers, Arkansas.
