DECATUR — Velma Ruth Brandon, 82, of Decatur passed away Sept. 21, 2015, in Bentonville. She was born June 6, 1933, in Cyril, Okla., the daughter of Albert and Mary Wilda Parker Crawford.
Ruth worked for Daisy Manufacturing, attended Bentonville High School and was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Beulah Crawford and Juanita Crawford and four brothers Glenn, Donald, Marvin and Loyd Crawford.
She is survived by her husband Clyde Hershel Brandon of the home; their children Peggy Cline of Gravette and Hershel Brandon of Gravette; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services 2 p.m. Friday; Sept. 25, 2015, at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Theis officiating. Interment will follow in the Coffelt Cemetery at Vaughn. Visitation: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
