WALNUT RIDGE — William “Red” Pierce, 79, died Tuesday, July 8, at his residence.

He had lived in the Oak Grove community for 55 years.

Survivors include his wife, Joeleene Foster Pierce; son, Steve Pierce; daughters, Vickie Robinson and Georgie Jones; sister, Orpha Murphy; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Oak Grove Church of Christ with A.J. Stracner officiating.

Burial will follow in Markham Cemetery near Egypt under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.

Visitation will be tonight from 5-8 in the funeral home.10 Jul 2008

WALNUT RIDGE — Joeleene Pierce, 80, of Walnut Ridge, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015. She was born Aug. 13, 1935, in Lawrence County to Dow and Virgie Hutsell Foster.

Survivors include son, Steve Pierce; daughters, Vickie Robinson (Ronnie) and Georgie Jones (Tony); sister, Carol Holland; grandchildren, Jame Burns (John), Jeremy Robinson (Stephanie), Wesley Pierce (Laura), Nathan Jones (Kerri), Courtney Robinson and Whitney Johnson (Maurice); great-grandchildren, Sawyer Robinson, Ally Johnson, Cooper Jones, Alexis Johnson and Avery Howaard.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Markham Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
