Mrs. Hessell Alice Beasley, 81, 710 Kansas St., Springdale, died Jan. 6 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 19, 1896, at Thornsberry, she was the daughter of Elmer and Daisy Dean Steele, the widow of Roscoe Beasley and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Walker Beasley of Springdale; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Burnett of Springdale; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Opel Peacock of Vallejo, Calif., Mrs. Rose Lamb of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Fern Stamps of Springdale; three brothers, Twane A. Walker of Orland, Calif., Furl D. Walker of Horton, Ore., and Orris Walker of Fairbanks, Alaska; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.

Services for Mrs. Hessell Alice Beasley, 81, 710 Kansas St., Springdale, were held at 10 a.m. today in Sisco Chapel with the Rev. Darrell Holloway officiating. Burial was in Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.
Pallbearers were Woody Burnett, Jimmy Burnett, Norman Burnett, Charles Farmer, Jerry Powell and Charles L. Brown.

FAYETTEVILLE — Walker H. Beasley, 86, of Fayetteville, died Aug. 3, 2011, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Dec. 9, 1924, in Springdale to William Roscoe and Hessell Alice Walker Beasley.
Walker attended Cross Church in Springdale.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Park Cemetery in Springdale.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
