Clint Oxford, 88, of the Habberton community, died Nov. 7 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Oct. 9, 1889, at Fayetteville, he was the son of Andrew and Susan Sharp Oxford, a member of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ, Springdale, and a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Robinson Oxford of the home; two sons, Euel Oxford and Glen L. Oxford, Fayetteville; one sister, Mrs. Lula Whillock, Fayetteville; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville. Burial will be in Sons Chapel under the direction of Moore's.

Mrs. Ethel Oxford, 86, of Fayetteville, died Nov. 14 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born June 5, 1893, in Illinois, she was the daughter of Ezra and Alwilda Webb Roberson and the widow of Clint Oxford to whom she was married Feb. 28, 1912, in Fayetteville. He died Nov. 7, 1977. She had lived most of her life in this area and was a member of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ in Springdale.

Survivors include two sons, Glen L. Oxford and Euel Oxford of Fayetteville; one brother, Cliff Roberson of Fullerton, Calif.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville, with J.R. Chism and Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Sons Chapel Cemetery.
