Bert Oxford, 52, of Fayetteville died in a local hospital March 17. He was born Sept, 29, 1920 in Fayetteville, the son of Owen D. and Frances Morgan Oxford.

He is survived by the widow Mrs. Lola Gray Oxford, and four sons, James Edward, William Elbert, Owen Jackson and John Raymond, all of the home; two daughters, Miss Mary Frances Oxford of the home and Mrs. Peggy McGinnis of Fayetteville; two sisters, Mrs. Sally Dutton of Middletown, R.I., and Mrs. Amy Lee Hulsey of Van Buren; and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Trinity Temple with burial in Goshen Cemetery under the direction of Nelson's Funeral Home.
