Annie Lawrence, 89, of Conway, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2009. She was born January 13, 1920 in Centerville to the late George W. Cardin and Effie Martin Cardin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Verlon “Scott” Lawrence; sisters, Floy Cardin, Tressie Winters, Carrie Davis Piolatto.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and retired from the Conway Human Development Center. She loved to garden, go to Branson and cook for her family and be around them which she loved very much.

She is survived by her son, Jackie Lawrence and wife Billie Lou of Conway; daughter, Carolyn Glover and husband Howard of Conway; 6 grandchildren, LeaAnn Clark of Conway, Brooks Lawrence and wife Pam of Conway, Misti Sweere and husband Jess of Maumelle, Richie Glover and wife Mary of Conway, Randy Glover and wife Christina of Conway, Rusty Glover of Little Rock; 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway with Rev. Tim Kellerman officiating. Burial will be in Cadron Valley Cemetery, Greenbrier. Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Brooks Lawrence, Ben Lawrence, Jess Sweere, Richie Glover, Randy Glover, Rusty Glover.
