Valerie Pearson, 38, of Greenbrier, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 5, 2013. She was born on Friday, February 14, 1975 in Little Rock, Arkansas . Valerie was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was a devoted nurse and enjoyed Saturday football gatherings with friends. She fought breast cancer for three and a half years and never gave up her fight, leaving her to be a great inspiration to others.
Those left to mourn her passing are her husband, Brian Pearson of Greenbrier; two daughters, Navy Torres and Ashley Pearson both of Greenbrier; father, Bob Harrison of Little Rock and father Tony Gattis of Hot Springs; two sisters, Traci Byrant of Dallas and Emily Young of Little Rock; three brothers, Eric Harrison of Jonesboro, Zeb Gattis of Oklahoma, and Guy Gattis of Hot Springs; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother Kacie Harrison and son Salem Kasey Torres.
Funeral services will be at 1:00p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Roller- McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery with Bro. John Buerlson officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
