Earl Thomas Sanders, 61, of Stephens, died today. Services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Stephens Church of Christ, of which he was a member, with burial in Riddick Cemetery under the direction of Proctor's Cemetery. Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife, Betty Lancaster Sanders; three sons, Charles Sanders of Plain Dealing, La., Melvin O. Sanders of Wichita, Tex., and Richard Sanders of Dallas, Tex., two daughters, Mrs. Patsy Stackhouse of Stephens and Mrs. Janie Orton of Dallas, Tex.; his mother, Mrs. Ethel Sanders of Camden; three brothers, Wayne Sanders of Chidester, Doyal Sanders and Arl Sanders, both of Camden; three sisters, Mrs. F. K. Reed of Camden, Mrs. J. P. Craig of Stephens and Mrs. Pete Lewis of Blanchard, La., and 10 grand children. (Camden News - September 11, 1975)
