Joe B. Crawley, 71, of Lowell went to be with the Lord, Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, in Lowell. He was born May 25, 1931, in Washington County, the son of Loyd and Bessie Norris Crawley. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a retired plumber.
Survivors include his wife, Orabell Crawley of the home, to whom he was married July 31, 1954; two sons, Bobby Joe Crawley of Lowell and Johnny Lee Crawley of Siloam Springs; one brother, J.W. Crawley of Prairie Grove; four grandsons; two granddaughters; one great-grandson; 19 nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at Bugscuffle Cemetery new Strickler with the Rev. Paul Payne officiating.
The family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Backstrom-Pyeafte Funeral Home in Springdale.
Pallbearers will be Clifford Cole, Larry Crawley, Jesse Cole, Lee Allen Cole, John Tyler Crawley and Cassidy Crawley.
Honorary pallbearers will be J.C. Cole, Billy Frank Cole, Jim Crawley, Randy Tyree, Clint Hittson and Cody Hittson.
