Juanita Merritt Mobbs Vogan, 87, of Conway went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015.
Juanita was born June 24, 1928 in Greenbrier and moved to Conway in her late 30's, where she lived until six years before her death. She was the daughter of John and Sarah Merritt.
Juanita enjoyed being with her family and working in her yard with lots of plants and flowers. She had a big heart and was always ready to help anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Junior B. Mobbs; and second husband, Don Vogan; siblings, Julie Henderson, Leaster Merritt, E.T. Merritt and Billy Merritt; and grandson Francis (Buddy) Troxell, Jr.
She is survived by her brother, J.C. Merritt of Greenbrier; her children, Jim (Theresa) Mobbs, Lana Mobbs, Shelia (Floyd) Balentine and Lydia (Johnny) Carter, all of Conway, and Paula (Charlie) Griggs of Missouri City, Texas.
She also leaves 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to express sincere appreciation to Greenbrier Nursing Home staff for the excellent care of their mother during the last six years, especially to Tamara and Jackie.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Chapel in Greenbrier, with Bro. Kirk Hardy and Charles Freeman officiating.
Burial will follow in Thorn Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Steven Mobbs, Brad Balentine, Brent Balentine, Brian Balentine, David Blake, John Blake, Creighton Griggs and Taylor Carter.
Serving as honorary pallbearer is Shane Troxell.
