Freddie “Ronnie” Laron Mobbs, 82, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away on April 1, 2023. He was born in Greenbrier, Arkansas on December 12, 1940 to the late Charles Frederick Mobbs and Geneva Montgomery Mobbs.
Freddie loved hunting, fishing, and knife making. He was always telling stories to everyone he talked with. He loved doing anything outdoors and camping. He was a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge #290 in Greenbrier, Arkansas. He retired after 34 years from Little Rock Fire Department. Freddie was the first person to invent and produce a portable deer stand and he sold them to people all over the world. He made a huge impact to everyone he crossed paths with in the community and will be truly missed by them.
He is preceded by his loving wife of 54 years, wife, Carole Snowden Mobbs; parents, Charles and Geneva Mobbs.
Freddie is survived by his children, Ronda Woodrome (Keith), Bryan Mobbs (Nancy), Chris Mobbs (Faith); grandchildren, Jessica Brainerd (Brent), Mitchell Woodrome, Ashley Nicole Mobbs, Charity Thompson (Matt); 5 great grandchildren; numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Wilcox Family Funeral Home.

Carole Snowden Mobbs, 73, of Greenbrier passed away on Friday, April 10, 2015. She was born December 22, 1941, in Royal Oak, Michigan to Samuel Maurice Snowden and Winnie Bell Snowden.
Carole was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Greenbrier for the past 30 years. She loved working in the yard, planting flowers and feeding the birds, especially the humming birds. Carole also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at their cabin in the Ozarks. She was an excellent cook, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by husband of 57 years, Freddie L. “Ronnie” Mobbs; daughter, Ronda Woodrome (Keith) of Greenbrier; two sons, Bryan Laron Mobbs of Greenbrier and Chris Frederick Mobbs (Faith) of Damascus; mother, Winnie Bell Snowden; grandchildren, Jessica Brainerd (Brent), Ashley Mobbs, Mitchell Woodrome, Mason Mobbs and Charity Thompson (Matt); one great-grandson, Weston Woodrome; sister, Jackie Neiman of McKenzie Bridge, Oregon; two brothers, Sam Snowden (Jackie) of Greenbrier and Harry Snowden (Norma Jean) of Mayflower also many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Maurice Snowden and two brothers, Dan Snowden and Billy Snowden.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Faith Baptist Church in Greenbrier with Brother Alan Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearer will be Bryan Laron Mobbs, Chris Frederick Mobbs, Mitchell Keith Woodrome, Michael Mason Mobbs, Steve Allen Snowden and Robbie Dean Snowden. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
