Georgia Francis Taylor Ross was born in Knoxville, Arkansas, Logan County on May 1, 1891, the daughter of George F. Taylor and Alsenda Gaston Taylor. The family moved to Indian terriory (Oklahoma) where she received her elementary education. She was a member of Mt. Cannan Baptist Church under the pastorage of the late Rev. John Bennett. Years later she moved to Fort Smith, AR and united with Mt. Moriah Baptist Church under the pastsorage of the late Rev. G.W. Branscomb. Here she remained a loyal and faithful member.
She married Clarence Ross who preceded her in death.
