SPRINGDALE — Donald R. Drake, 72, of Springdale died Jan. 27, 2002, at his home. He was born March 2, 1929, in the White Oak community to Albert Young and Julie Elizabeth Lashall Drake.
He was an associate of Curtis Chick Service and White River Poultry. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Annabel Bayley Drake of the home, to whom he was married April 29, 1949; three sons and daughters-in-law, Marc Drake and Denese of Heath, Texas, Zane Drake and Malissa of Coffeyville, Texas, and Kelly Drake mad Susan of Southlake, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Connie Robertson and Stan of St. Charles, Mo.; two brothers, Gail Drake of Lowell and Cecil Drake of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Maurine A. Drake of Washington, D.C., and Twila Burson of Inola, Okla., and eight grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at White Oak Cemetery with Zane Drake officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the family present.
