Mrs. Eva E. Drake, 78, Fayetteville, died June 4 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born March 17, 1897, at Drake's Creek, she was the daughter of Jim and Safronia Neil Counts and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Forrest Drake, Fayetteville; one sister, Mrs. Joe Langham, Fayetteville; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Buckner Baptist Church. Burial will be in Buckner Cemetery under the direction of Watson Mortuary of Fayetteville.
