John Lyle Cotton, 85, died at a Rogers nursing home Monday morning.
He was born March 4, 1888 near Huntsville and moved to Rogers in 1908. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Stover of Rogers; a son, Walter Cotton of Nashville, Ark.; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Burns Funeral Chapel in Rogers with Jack Garner officiating. Burial win be in Rogers Cemetery.
