WIGHT, Luiza J. - Luiza J. Wight, daughter of James H. and Sarah E. Wight, died March 14, 1913 at 3:30 p.m. after an illness of five months. Her long illness and intense suffering was of that most dreaded disease, cancer of the bowels. She leaves an invalid father, two sisters and three brothers, her mother having preceded her since April 16, 1910, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss. She was born May 26, 1870, making her age forty-two years, nine months and eighteen days. She professed a hope in Christ while quite young but never joined any denomination, but in sentiment of faith a Primitive Baptist. She was very kind and tender to her family, a special friend to old people, very faithful to visit the sick, had a kind word for all. By her request Elder John Garret conducted the funeral service at Little Flock on the 15th after which the remains were consigned to their resting place in the Little Flock cemetery to await the resurrection morn. All was done for her comfort that loving hands could do. That she is free from all pain and suffering we are satisfied and that she is basking in the presence of the Majesty on high is a consolation. Her brothers, sisters and father desire to thank the friends and neighbors who were so kind to them during their sore trial. G.O.L.
