Services for Melba Cunningham of Gassville will be at 2PM Saturday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Luell McCutcheon officiating. Mrs. Cunningham died Wednesday (May 12, 1999) at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO. She was 61.
Mrs. Cunningham was born May 24, 1938, at Spickard, MO, to William Francis and Beulah Loftis Hickman. She married Delbert O. Cunningham Oct 16, 1954, in Kansas City, KS. She was a department manager for Wal-Mart of Flippin. Formerly of Kansas City, MO, she had lived in the Mt. Home area since 1962. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed painting and cooking.
She is survived by her mother, Beulah Hickman Johnson of Gassville; four sons, Bill Cunningham and Jeff Cunningham and wife Judy, all of Mt. Home, Jerry Cunningham and wife, Regina, of Jonesboro, and Chris Cunningham of Houston, Texas; one daugher, Debbie Ingram and husband, Doug of Mt. Home; one sister Pat Eveland and husband, Calvin of Charleston; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbnd, Delbert and her father, William Hickman.
Visitation will be from 9AM to 9PM today at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8PM. Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery at Norfork. Pallbearers are Bill Cunningham, Jeff Cunningham, Jerry Cunningham, Chris Cunningham, Calvin Eveland and Jason Brew. Honorary pallbearers are Doug Ingram, Jason Cunningham, Jessica Brew, Shannon Cunningham, Alesiha Cunningham, Kelly Cunningham, Sara Terry and Matt Terry.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
