STILWELL, Okla. — Cassie Marie Barnes, 95, of Stilwell died Jan. 17, 2007, at her home. She was born Nov. 13, 1911, in Benton County to Thomas and Effie Walker Eads. She lived most of her life in the Wedington area and Benton County. She was a laborer for Allen Canning in Siloam Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1964 and daughter, Wilma Burke.
Survivors include one son, James I. Barnes of Siloam Springs; one daughter, Velma Schmidt of North Glenn, Colo.; one sister, Maxine Neal of Beatrice, Neb.; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, online at www.wassonfuneralhome.com. Burial will follow in Weddington Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
