ROGERS — Virginia Lee Jefferson, 76, of Rogers, passed away peacefully with family and friends surrounding her at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale on Jan. 22, 2009.

She was born Oct. 2, 1932, in Tulsa, Okla., to Gilbert and Virginia Gibson Graham.

She was preceded in death by her biological parents; loving stepfather, Kyle Havely; beloved husband of 44 years, Ronald Pierce Jefferson; sister, Darla Anderson and brother, Jim Gibson Graham.

Virginia was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church. She was a wonderful and cherished Mom, awesome grandmother, fun aunt, caring sister and loyal friend. She retired from Federal Savings alter 20 years where she was the Prairie Creek branch manager.

She is survived by her son, Larry Jefferson of Tulsa; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and David Zajicek; and grandsons, Zach and Michael Zajicek, all of Rogers, in addition to loving sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews, and the Birthday Club members.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.

A celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in downtown Rogers with the Rev. Sandra Wanasek officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in loving memory of Virginia Jefferson to First United Methodist Church, 307 W. Elm St., Rogers, 72756, or to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, 72762.
