Ausban Columbus Freeman, 88, of Lincoln died Friday, Dec. 9, 1994, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Born Aug. 24, 1906, at Limestone, a son of John Wesley and Emma Jane Robinson Freeman, he was a forest ranger, a farmer and a member of the First Assembly of God of Lincoln.
Survivors are his wife, Ruby Ogden Freeman of the home; two sons, James Freeman of Fayetteville and Billy Wayne Freeman of Broken Arrow, Okla.; four daughters, Hazel Baugh of Lincoln, Glenna Daniels of Dutch Mills, Sue Pennel of Tulsa, Okla., and Ruth Loftin of Dutch Mills; four brothers, Clarence Freeman and Cliff Freeman, both Lamar, Dewey Freeman of Ohio and Corby Freeman of Concord, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Assembly of God in Lincoln with the Revs. Stan Cox and David McBride officiating. Burial will be in the Dutch Mills Cemetery under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home.
