Parents: Lonnie Cox and Gertrude (Everett) Cox. She was one of nine children, all of whom has preceded her in death except one, Maxine Reed, of Paris.

She is survived by her three daughters, Shirley (Bill) Waffle and Karen (Gary) Waffle, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Linda (Mack) Yaussy of Herndon, Va.; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and extended family members scattered across the United States. Naomi and Thomas lived their adult lives in Southern California where all their children were born and they all thoroughly enjoyed boating and camping. They both were employed by Sunkist of Calif. for many years, retiring to Arkansas, their childhood home.
