David Lynn Sanders, son of the late James Leroy Sanders and Velma Florine Rand Sanders, was born October 24, 1952 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He departed this life October 3, 2013 at his home in Dolph, Arkansas at the age of 60 years, 11 months and 9 days. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Sue Sanders on August 30, 1974 and to this union one daughter was born. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, uncle, father, provider and friend. He was employed by Steve’s Termite in Mountain Home. He was of the Baptist faith and baptized at Dolph Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years: Carolyn Sanders of the home; one daughter and son-in-law: Jessica Lynn and Zach Ables of Mountain Home; one brother: Andy Sanders of Norfork; one sister: Vonda Taylor of Dolph; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; Dennis Sanders and Joey Sanders; one infant brother: Charles Sanders and one nephew: Danny Sanders.
Graveside Funeral service will be Sunday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Hand Cemetery in Jordan, Arkansas under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation will be Saturday, October 5 from 6-8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Community Medical Center Hospice, P.O. Box 438, Calico Rock, Arkansas 72519.
Pallbearers: Zach Ables, James Sanders, Nick Barkes, Danny Stephens, Rick Sanders, Mark Sanders.
