Dennis E. Sanders son of Florine Rand Sanders of Dolph and the late James Sanders, was born February 23, 1951 in Norfork, Arkansas. He departed this life on January 14, 2011 in Mtn. Home, Arkansas at the age of 59 years, 10 months and 22 days. During his working years, he was employed by Hopper Termite for 19 years. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Dolph Baptist Church.
Dennis is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Tammie Dickerson and Nick Barkes of Norfork; one sister, Vonda Taylor of Dolph; four grandchildren: Brittany Dickerson of Mtn. Home, James Sanders of Calico Rock, Whitney Barkes of Mtn. Home and Jesse Sanders of Calico Rock; ; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his father; one son; Danny Sanders; two brothers; Joey Sanders and Charles Sanders.
Graveside funeral service will be Monday, January 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Hand Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation will be Sunday, January 16 from 6-8 p.m.
Pallbearers: Rick Sanders, Randy Sanders, Nick Barkes, Don Skidmore, Jimmy Freeman and Shane Vredenburg.
Honorary Pallbearers: James Sanders, Jesse Sanders, Brittany Dickerson and Whitney Barkes.
