Mrs. Vivian L. Meeks Mitchell, 50, of Vilonia, died Sunday (Sept. 17, 2000) at Baptist Medical Center.
Born June 19, 1950, in Bastrop, La., a daughter of the late Mayo Clark and Betty Kenndey Meeks, she was a home health aide for hospice and a member of First Baptist Church in Vilonia.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Meeks.
Survivors are her husband, Otis Mitchell; a son, Otis Mitchell Jr. of Van Buren; a daughter, Patricia Curry of Vilonia; two brothers, James Meeks of Hamburg (Ashley County) and Macky Meeks of Warren (Bradley County); two sisters, Deborah Sue Evans of Rogers (Benton County) and Jacklyn Decker of Henderson, Nev.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Vilonia with the Rev. John Hamby officiating. Burial will be in Cypress Valley Cemetery at Vilonia.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. today at Griffin Leggett-Conway.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Home Health Care.
