Sanford David Leach, 71, of Rogers, died Sunday at his home after an extended illness.
He was born Dec. 18, 1898, in Bentonville and was a veteran of WWI. He was a member of the Benton County WWI Barracks.
Survivors are his wife, Velma Marie of the home; a son, Roy David Leach, Rogers; a daughter, Mrs. Ella Mae Hale, Valley Center, Kan.; a brother, Jasper Leach, El Reno, Okla. and five grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Burns Funeral Chapel, Rogers, with Rev, Roy Galyean officiating.
Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home, Rogers.
