J.H. Leach died Saturday at his home south of this city after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Sam Eaton and the remains were interred in the Flint creek cemetery on Sunday. While it was a very disagreeable day, a procession of more than a quarter of a mile in length followed the remains to its last resting place. This is a testimonial to Mr. Leach as a citizen and evidenced the esteem in which he was held by his neighbors.
