Wanda 6 March 1938 - 27 December 2009
MINERAL POINT, Mo. — Wanda Lee Swedholm, 71, of Mineral Point died Sunday at Washington County Memorial Hospital in Petosi, Mo.
Born at Risco, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Orville and Meca Aters Perrigan and had lived much of her life in the Sikeston, Mo., area. She was a former employee of Brown Shoe Co., had lived the past 30 years at Mineral Point and was of the Church of Christ faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Swedholm, and a brother, Charles Perrigan.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Swedholm of Mineral Point; two sons, George Swedholm of Mineral Point and David Swedholm of Arnold, Mo.; one daughter, Laura Bargetzi of Fenton, Mo.; and one sister, Pat Henson of Mineral Point. She also leaves five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Roger Chaffin officiating. Burial will follow in Macey Cemetery near Monette.
The family will receive visitors this evening from 4:30-8 at the funeral home.
