LEACHVILLE — Robert Oscar Swedholm, 80, of Mineral Point, Mo., former Leachville area resident, passed from this life Friday, April 28, 2017, at the Mercy Hospital in Festus, Mo. Born in the Buffalo Township community of Old Town Ridge to the late George and Lois Towell Swedholm, he lived in Mineral Point for the past 40 years. He was retired from Old Judge Coffee, which later became Sara Lee, and was a member of the Riverside Church of Christ in St. Louis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Lee Perrigan Swedholm; a son, George Anthony Swedholm; and a daughter, Julia Swedholm.
Survivors include a son, David Swedholm of Arnold, Mo.; a daughter, Laura Bargetzi of Fenton, Mo.; and two sisters, Evie West and Jackie Wright, both of Defiance, Mo.
He also leaves five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Mr. Raymond Lasley officiating. Burial will follow in Macey Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
