REYNOLDS, W.W. - W.W. Reynolds died Sunday morning at 10:30 o'clock at his home in this city. His death was the result of an attack of pneumonia with which he had been suffering four or five days. Mr. Reynolds had been quite poorly for the past year or two, suffering from stomach trouble. A couple of months ago he fell and broke his hip and had since been confined to his bed. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the residence and were conducted by Rev. Thompson. Quite a number of acquaintances and friends were present. Mr. Reynolds was born at Belfast, Maine on December 18, 1830, being seventy-two years and ten days old at the time of his death. He was married in 1856. He came to Rogers in 1888 from Ft. Scott, Kansas and engaged in the restaurant business and has since been one of the best known business men of the town. He was popular with all our citizens and his gradual retirement from the store on account of poor health had been generally regretted. Mr. Reynolds leaves a wife and three children - Mrs. Jas. Ashworth of this city; Ed F. Reynolds of Joplin, Mo. and Arthur E. Reynolds of Uniontown, Kas. Ed Reynolds arrived Saturday night and was with his father when he died and A.E. Reynolds arrived in time to attend the funeral Monday.
