Funeral services for Mrs. Rettie Sareldia Brown, 78, were conducted in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon by the Rev. J. L. Newsom assisted by the Rev. Bates Sturdy. Burial followed at Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown, who has lived in Blytheville for many years, died at her home at 309 South 17th Street at 8 o’clock last night after an illness of several weeks.
Born in Kentucky, Mrs. Brown moved to Blytheville a number of years ago, and has made her home here since that time.
She is survived by her daughter, Miss Martha Brown of Blytheville, and two sons; Robert Brown, also of Blytheville, and Reese Brown, of Myrtle, MO.
Cobb Funeral Home was in charge.
