Cuba Leakey, 93, of Alma, AR passed away Thursday; October 5, 2012 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Dyer Assembly of God Church. She is preceded in death by parents, Jessie and Vallie Thornburg Gilbreth; husband, Thomas "Bud" Leakey; daughter, Danna Price; sisters, Oma Harris, Ethel Gilbreth, Emma Andrews, Dorothy Keys, Gelene Huggins; brothers, Grady Gilbreth and Leonard Gilbreth.
She is survived by two daughters, Estelle Davis and husband Ron of Alma and Bena Carolyn Leakey of Fort Smith; four sons, Tommy Leakey and wife Jane, Wayne Leakey and wife Lolly, Rickey Leakey and wife Hope and Venton Leakey and wife Debbie all of Dyer; two brothers, Thurman Gilbreth and Roger Gilbreth of Alma; sister in law, Dorothy Gilbreth, seventeen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tommy, Wayne, Rickey, Venton and Dustin Leakey, Shawn Griffin, Ron Davis, Harley Leakey.
Funeral service will be held Monday, October 8th, 2012, 2:00pm, graveside at Dyer Cemetery.
