Mr. Jim Akin died at the home of his daughter, Mrw. J. E. Hampton, at Floyd, Tuesday evening at 9 o'clock after only 12 hours illness due to high blood pressure. He seemed as well as usual Tuesday morning until 3 o'clock. He became unconscious at 4 o'clock and remained so until death came.
Deceased is survived by 11 living children , all of whom were with him except one who lives in Shawnee Okla. Funeral services and burial sere held at the Floyd cemetery Thursday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Will Boberson and son, Leo, Mr. and Mrs. "Boss" Epperson and Mrs. Donnie Hutchinson attended from Searcy. Mr. Akin was Mrs. Roberson's father.
