Mr. Joe Ed “Joel” Robinson, 53 of Hamburg, AR, died Friday, June 3, 2011 at his residence. He was a Dumas, AR native but had resided in Hamburg most of his life. He was an employee of the Ashley County Road Dept. before becoming disabled and was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Fannie Simpson and his sister, Clara Cobbs. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing.
He is survived by one sister, Renea Howard, husband Willford of Hamburg, AR and a host of nieces and nephews whom he helped raise.
Funeral services are Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. W.R. Taylor officiating. Pallbearers are Larry Miller, David Miller, Clarence Miller, Lee Marvin Miller, Nathaniel Miller, and Kendal Caldwell. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the directions of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg, AR.
